With high winds out of the northeast fishing was a little tough on 01-07-12. We still managed to put 37 fish in the boat and left a few still jumping out there. Dwayne, Donnie, and Rick all friends from Alabama fished with Captain Blake today and still managed to catch some really nice fish even with strong winds. The biggest fish we boated was right at 6 lbs with the majority of the fish in the 2-4 lb range. It was a great trip with some great new friends.
Lake Okeechobee is fishing great and should just continue to get better, so let’s go fishing!!!!
